This piece feels less like jewelry and more like something recovered from an old chapel or forgotten crypt.

The pendant features a detailed funeral scene engraved in deep 2.5D bas relief . A hooded mourner standing vigil beside a coffin, wreaths and candles set into the background, and worn architectural details that give it the look of aged stone or antique metalwork. Every surface has been darkened and hand-finished to bring out the shadows, giving it the quiet weight of a memorial artifact.

Set into the center is a small, hand-shaped square of real human femur bone, carefully fitted and sealed into the frame. The bone was legally and ethically sourced, then cut, sanded, and finished by hand. Its natural grain and subtle color variations make each piece completely unique, like an old relic preserved in metal.

The contrast between the aged relief and the pale bone centerpiece gives the pendant a stark, almost sacred presence. It’s meant for those who appreciate memento mori symbolism, remembrance pieces, or darker gothic art.
