Dinner is served.
Inspired by one of the most disturbing and unforgettable scenes in horror history, this pendant captures the nightmare of the infamous Texas Chainsaw Massacre dinner scene. All engraved into the face of a butcher cleaver.
At the center is the terrified victim, bound to the chair with her arms outstretched, while the family gathers around the table behind her. Faces emerge from the darkness, the old house closes in around the scene, and the entire image feels crowded, chaotic and wrong. Exactly the feeling I wanted this piece to have.
Even the pendant itself is part of the design. Instead of putting the scene on a basic round or rectangular blank, I shaped the entire piece like a heavy old butcher cleaver, complete with a long handle, rivet details and the traditional hole in the corner of the blade.
The Details
- Full butcher cleaver-shaped pendant
- Inspired by the legendary dinner scene
- Bound victim in the foreground
- The family gathered around the table behind her
- Tiny background details throughout the room
- Raised rivet details on the cleaver handle
- Deep antiqued finish
- Individually hand-finished
- Chain included
This is not a flat printed image. The scene is created in detailed relief, with raised figures, faces, furniture and background elements that can actually be seen and felt in the metal.
The entire pendant is darkened to fill the deepest areas, then carefully finished so the raised details come back through in a worn silver-colored finish. The result gives it the look of an old, dirty butcher tool that has been sitting in that house for decades.
This is one of those pieces where the closer you look, the more you find. For the amount of detail packed into such a small piece, the tiny faces, hands, chair, table and room came out wild.
Because every pendant is individually finished by hand, slight variations in darkness, texture and wear are part of each piece.
Perfect for fans of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Leatherface, classic 1970s horror, slasher films and dark wearable art.
The saw may be family—but dinner brings everyone to the table.
